CitySprint has announced its acquisition of the national multi-drop and SameDay Courier business of the Owner Driver Network Ltd from ODN Logistics (ODN). ODN will continue to operate in its HGV and pallet market under the name ODN Logistics.

This acquisition further strengthens CitySprint’s position within the UK SameDay Courier industry and will add over £3m in annual revenue to CitySprint. CitySprint is well established and recognised in providing tailored courier solutions to the Medical/Pharmaceuticals and Office Products sectors.

The deal has brought two major business customers to CitySprint; CitySprint will now provide SameDay Courier services to them through its extensive UK network of ServiceCentres. One is a multi-location business-to-business supplier of office and computer products and the other is a leading distributor of pharmaceuticals to hospital pharmacies and local pharmacies in the UK and has 19 sites across the country.
