Further Strike Dates Set For Crown Post Offices |

The Communication Workers Union today announced a further two dates of strike action at all Post Office Limited Crown Post Offices. Monday 16th July commencing at 14:30hrs -19:00hrs Thursday 19th July commencing from 6:00hrs – 12:00hrs National Officer Andy Furey said “The Union has been left with no alternative but to announce further strike action. Post Office Limited are unwilling to scrap their plans for a pay freeze and a pay cut for 80% of staff. POL staff are also having to endure a mass cull of crown post offices across the UK accumulating to the loss of up to 1500 jobs. If Post Office Limited are unwilling to negotiate an adequate pay offer further strike action will be announced.”
