In 2007, the company celebrates its 25th anniversary of successful business, focussing on the postcode areas of North Lancashire and South Cumbria. Early this year, Lancit Haulage was invited to join the expanding Fortec Pallet Distribution Network and it officially became a member in March. Tony Gribbin, Managing Director, Lancit Haulage and Storage Ltd commented: “Previously, we were with another pallet network, but this experience had made us cautious of joining another operator. However, Fortec quickly established a relationship that was both open and honest – a refreshing change and exactly what we were looking for. “Fortec has already helped in building our business and adding more services, such as the International product, to our portfolio. We are very impressed with how the Fortec side of our business has already picked up and become very busy. This is exactly what they promised. “We are a family run business, which includes my wife Kathryn and my two sons, Ryan and Robert. We currently operate with 12 staff, running nine vehicles, including five 44 tonne curtain sided trailers. Our customers include high profile names such as Lakeland Ltd, The Spandex Group, Prince’s soft drinks and Hill’s Pet Food, and we are confident that with the level of support we receive from Fortec this client base will increase.” Rod Abrahams, Managing Director, Fortec Pallet Distribution Network added: “We are delighted that Lancit Haulage and Storage has joined our expanding network. They continue to demonstrate exceptional customer service in the North Lancashire and Cambrian region through a dedicated team. We wish Tony and Lancit Haulage every success in what we hope will be a long term and mutually beneficial relationship.”
