Palletways wins major distribution contract |

|
 Palletways has been awarded a national contract to distribute products on behalf of Simpson Strong-Tie, a specialist in connectors and structural systems for the construction industry.
Under the contract, Palletways will collect around 40,000 pallet consignments a year from the company’s manufacturing site in Tamworth, for distribution to hundreds of delivery points throughout the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands via its national hub in Lichfield. Simpson Strong-Tie will also take advantage of Palletways’ consignment stockholding facility, Stargate Logistics in Edinburgh, to enhance its competitiveness North of the border, as well as the company’s European network to ship product between the UK and its manufacturing sites in Boulstrup, Denmark and La Rochelle, France.
