 Northgate plc, the UK and Spain’s leading specialist in light commercial vehicle hire has entered into an agreement with easyCar.com, the car rental company founded by Stelios, the serial entrepreneur. The venture will see Northgate provide commercial vehicles through the easyVan.com website, so whether you are moving house, undertaking D.I.Y. projects or just moving heavy items from one place to another, you can rely on easyVan.com to help lighten the load.
As the market leaders in light commercial vehicle hire, with a fleet of over 65,300 vehicles available from 88 locations throughout the UK and Ireland, Northgate was the obvious choice.
So, back in January 2006, Northgate were approached by easyCar to become the commercial vehicle supplier for their online van rental service.
After only a short period the success was apparent, with online bookings increasing month on month, making it increasingly obvious to both parties that a bigger platform was needed for the commercial vehicle hire side of the operation. And so easyVan.com was born.
http://www.easyVan.com/ is very simple to use, customers are given the choice of 5 vehicles, dependent on the size they require, these range from a car derived van to a Transit Luton with tail-lift. Customers simply choose the vehicle they want and where they want to hire it from. Confirmation of the booking is sent to the customer via email in the form of a voucher which they print off – detailing from which Northgate rental location they can collect the van.
