Home Delivery Network Limited, the UK’s largest dedicated home delivery service, is working with the Department of Transport and Industry and the Family Fund to deliver 19,206 hampers to customers who have been affected by the Farepak collapse. The Family Fund, a government charity, is leading the rescue operation for affected Farepak customers. Over the course of the next week, Home Delivery Network will be delivering these hampers to 7,900 agents across the country free of charge to support the rescue work. Commenting on the delivery effort, Walter Blackwood, Managing Director of Home Delivery Network, said, “We wanted to support the rescue effort and be part of the fantastic work that is being done to help customers devastated by the Farepak collapse ahead of Christmas. As the UK’s largest delivery and collection service, we feel we can make a practical contribution through providing free delivery of the hampers.”
