David Gannon

David Gannon takes on the role after spending 16 years in the logistics industry, working for a number of key players in the express parcel sector.

He joins Pall-Ex directly from United Pallet Network (UK), where he has spent the past two years as Financial Director. He previously held a similar role at Panic Link, the international arm of the French Post Office, where he successfully took the company from a manual process through to an electronic data transmission system.

David’s new position will see him taking responsibility for the accounting and administration of Pall-Ex’s group-wide financial operations.

Commenting on the role, David said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Pall-Ex. Its reputation within the industry is second-to-none and I’m looking forward to supporting the Group FD and working with the financial team to achieve continued success.”

Pall-Ex Managing Director Adrian Russell said: “The current economic climate means that it’s a challenging time for everyone, but David’s expertise will allow us to continue to meet the high standards that Pall-Ex is recognised for. His experience in implementing value added financial functions for the membership will be brought into play significantly during 2009.

“It’s an exciting time for David to be joining the company, with the imminent launch of Pall-Ex Italia and the two other major European ventures being planned.”
