With 50,000+ units sold TruckProtect continues to reinforce its position as the UK market leader in providing ways to stop fuel theft from commercial vehicles. The firm, the only European-based operation to specialise in the manufacture and sales of anti-fuel theft devices, launched its InstantFit NECK-IT range of products just over two years ago and in a short time convinced a the transport industry it was just what it needed. It has not looked back since, and in the interim has added new units to the point at which it now offers fuel anti-siphon units to fit every make and model of commercial vehicle in the UK and a great many more besides. In the process, the company has dealt the largest single blow to the growing numbers of opportunist and organised fuel thieves anywhere in the world, a move applauded and increasingly supported by its ever-increasing army of customer converts, who now demand the TruckProtect solution over others in their ongoing battle to stop fuel theft from their vehicles. Reflecting on the company’s success, CEO Russell Fowler says the reason is simple: “Our products work. They stop fuel theft, whether it be the siphoning of a few litres by opportunists or an entire tank full by organised gangs. He adds: “The fact that diesel prices have been rising cannot be ignored, prompting more fuel theft at a time when transport operators are already feeling the pinch, but it also helps their willingness to act knowing they can both fit an entire fleet from a single source and do so cost effectively, as the units take minutes to fit, can be interchanged between vehicles and come with a lifetime guarantee.” TruckProtect’s success has also been transferred overseas, where interest in its products is growing rapidly. The company has already established a healthy market on the Continent through a network of industry agents and across the DAF Europe dealer network. Regular sales are made into the Middle East and Africa. With fuel theft an ongoing problem and word spreading about its products, TruckProtect believes it will not be long before sales reach the magic 100,000 mark. That, it says, will be a day to savour and a true landmark in the war on fuel theft.
